And if these games have the potential to exploit human nature in a negative
fashion, whether intentionally or accidentally, what is the responsibility
of a game designer to ensure that they remain just games? Should a game
company be permitted to produce an experience that naturally acquires
addictive participants simply because it fits in a certain way with the
human mind? Are there techniques that can be used to ensure that players
are 'saved from themselves'?
Should there be time restrictions per day on the playing of these games?
Should casual gaming be enforced?
