You should check my earliest posts on this thread.

I'll give you one example here, though.

Because of my casual nature, I tend to be a "breadth-first" kind of
player. This means I end up sampling many different class/species
combos and a good deal of low to mid-level content.

Others have said that my experimentation can still take place in an
SCS system, with the restriction that it be spread across multiple
servers.  That would be a completely reasonable argument if we
weren't entering an era of dynamic, player-customizable worlds. Such
customization will likely result in player creations (e.g. cities)
that are unique to a particular shard. SCS would not allow me to
create a variety of characters to explore exotic parts of my world.

All to stop the relatively rare practice of tradeskill-muling.
