I think the greatest thing about MUDs is the fact that you can run one on ANY
machine, running ANY platform and written in ANY language, and still have the
ability to access itthrough ANY OTHER operating system. The portability in
general is one of the best things about it. All you need is the address and a
free telnet client. ( and, yes, telnet is still a very usefull client, as there
are some systems without Zmud. Zmud annoys me anyway. )
