In Ola's defence, I think he meant MUDs generally, in which case no
text MUD has a lot of players.

They peaked at 607 yesterday.

Dragonrealms and Gemstone III both peak at 1000 players+. Serious
props to them!

By text MUD standards at least (which is all that matters to the
