As for LambdaMOO's language, SchoolNetMOO is a home to a good-sized user
base (length(players()) = 1517, 400-500 of which are active), consisting
mostly of people in high school.  A brief scan of the database shows that
there are currently 351 people who have wrote at least one verb.

Agreed, some have simply @copied someone elses, but to have about 1/5th of a
population able to program shows that MOO-code is doing something right...
