I've come to the conclusion that bigger isn't always better, including in a
commercial space. Being able to hook up quickly and easily with your friends
is important. Particularly if you have a graphical space, all that room
serves as a barrier. It's been interesting to watch the reactions among
EverQuest players, for example, who love the large map for exploring, but
hate it for socializing.
