In fact, why not provide in-game items that provide explicit
numerical feedback that can be plugged together to generate effects?
Sorta like the "motion sensing toilet flusher" of the virtual world.
Gives power gamers a relationship to builders/scripters. "Attack
when threshold X is reached" could be used for a security system.
