I make a network traffic generation product as well
(http://www.candelatech.com/). I have not considered trying to
stress test MUDs, but a lot of our features, (like 100s of virtual
interfaces on a single physical interface) might be useful for
stressing MUDs as well. If anyone is interested in working on this,
please contact me off the list (greearb@candelatech.com)
