It may ell have done so for many of today's online gamers, but anyone
writing a new game isn't going to get a huge number of players from
those sources anyway. If you were able to educate (or, for those who
think things are just fine the way they are, corrupt) a batch of
players from some other source (eg. console games) then it could
work. You'd have to do the PD just right, though, or it would lead
down the same road that the games we have now have gone.
