I think you are. I have to say I've not really noticed any difference
in the basic ways people behave online in the 10 years I've been
MUDing. If you don't mind my asking, and I don't mean this
insultingly, but did you start playing MUDs a few years ago? Maybe a
year or two before the time when you noticed players changing? It
seems to be extremely common for people to start believing that
"things were better" back when they started, likely because it was all
new and fresh.
