Items bought from the primary market (and in fact the majority of
items in IRE realms) simply don't fall out of an individual's
inventory upon death, so there is no "looting" in the first
place. The items could be stolen via whatever skill mechanisms the
thief may have at his disposal, but if the item is one purchased
through the primary market, said item will only remain in the
thief's possession (though fully functional the whole time, save in
a few cases) until its reset timer runs to nil and it pops back into
the purchaser's inventory.
