Right. Do you think if GM doubled the cost of all their cars tomorrow,
they would double their profits? Of course not, as everyone would start
buying competing products.
Do you think that if all car companies doubled the cost of their cars
tomorrow, they would double their profits? Of course not, because far
fewer people would buy cars (and, of course, if they collaborated to do
that, they'd be in violation of anti-trust regulations).
