In GoP terms: Socialisation requires a GoP value for the other
player's presence or participation. If the value is sufficiently
attractive the rest is just opportunity and methods. Players will
actively conspire to create socialisation venues and opportunities
if you don't provide them adequately.
cf ICQ use in parallel with MUD playing.
