A Fame Point system for a MUD. Every Avatar tied to an active
account/login has a fame point that can be "given" to another
Avatar. This point is revocable and reassignable at any time,
ultimately anchored with the "fan" (giver) and "idol" that received
the point. The number of Fame points you have would award certain
benefits or abilities, with a focus on recognition and
noteriety. Allowances for people with multiple accounts
notwithstanding. This has many potential social applications and
viable variations I'm sure.
