One of these days some (overly?) hopefuly undergrad is going to mine
MUD-Dev for these things for his thesis. Maybe we'll get a list
then.

Agreed, with bells on.

A problem of course for such a digester is that most of the
aphorisms and laws are not stated as such. They're tossed out
offhandedly and discussed and dealt with in much the same manner.

PS A little list data:

MIME digests for the list server are currently in testing and
show every likelyhood of being turned on this weekend. (Bow to
Cat). The first person to reply directly to a digest and not to a
component message (translation have your mail software burst the
digests) will be shot, hung, drawn, quartered, and liberally
sprinkled with salt and cayenne pepper. I will then begin hurting
them. Yes, this is a technology warning. If your mail software
can't handle MIME digests, don't subscribe to the digest list.

If enough people ask for RFC 1553 digests I'll *think* about
adding them as well, but will ness some persuading. (Note: several
of the mail handlers for Emacs handle RFC 1553 digests smoothly).

I've also got a number of other tweaks up my sleeve for the list
software, most to make my life simpler like auto-bounce tracking,
but a few that will add features for the members (cf eVote). but
those will have to wait for a future testing bout.
