I don't think so. At least the runtime checks *happen* - I found that
in many cases, you need lots of weird runes to fit pieces of a
statically typed system with each other - and you need them all over
your code. This makes coding ridiculously verbose and
error-prone. Unless you can do it interactively, but that's where
dynamic systems kick static ones right out of the water.
