As much as it is a scourge on all of mud-dom, Medievia has a 
dynamic economy that constantly evolves and changes, 
without any intervention from the gods. They have something
called disasters (or something like that) that cause the economy
in a certain area of the game to change and require a different
set of goods.  It seems to work pretty well too.
