Of course the hot topic still is how to make money on the Internet, if
anyone can.  Although the following is geared for broadcasters, you
may still find the discussion interesting. So far little has actually
been posted, but there is a link to the MSNBC article there too.

DISCUSSION: Subscription model?

Broadcaster Frank Carr points to an article on MSNBC suggesting that
internet radio will evolve into tiers, like TV, wherein some is free,
and additional programming is offered for a fee (like cable).

Whaddya think? Is the subscription model relevant on the web, or are
people too used to getting something for nothing?
