Interesting. The following also caught my attention (from the
screenshots section):
"BabelScript is particularly suited to our unique style of games
because: 1) It can run in a special "predictive mode", totally
eliminating Internet lag in our games, and 2) It can be downloaded
to the clients without stopping the game, meaning that our
storytellers can provide new content continuously without
interrupting the experience."
I wonder how they actually design for a lagfree experience...
(prediction and speculative pushing of data is in general something
one should consider doing, but it doesnt really make lag go away..?)
