I will admit that the original transfer of graphics would be time consuming,
if done via FTP or download from a web site (via HTTP, even slower). You may
even ship the client and supporting graphics on a CD for a nominal fee.

I thought you were talking about a commercial product, sold as a boxed set.
Forgive me for misunderstanding your thoughts on 'Semi Graphical Muds'.
