Well, yes, that would be annoying. I'm used to my client where the prompt
just stays put in the input line (special-purpose client), so hadn't thought
of that aspect. Imagine it without the prompt repeating, however, and put
in about 5 times as much output, so the prompt isn't even in your window
any more. That's where something mistyped could get you into trouble.
