OK, this might not be a new take on perma-death, but still. I'd like
to see some good arguments against this.

Assume that PKs are disguised "griefers" likely to turn to other
kinds of grief play if PK is not possible (I don't believe this, but
let's assume that, as there might be some truth in it anyway.)

Have PvP, but make the game perma-death only for the top 25% of
aggressors. Or if all else fails, for all aggressors. Or make stat
loss follow your "aggression-level".

Now, perma-death will most likely make some of your players quit,
but does it really matter? I mean, you loose aggressors. It is
likely that more griefers than non-griefers will be perma-killed...

  (This is tongue-in-cheek, but still worth discussing. I think.)
