Well, in principle you're adding 2 bits per word if you have four
sets of 1024 words instead of just one, which will make the encodings
slightly longer -- half a letter per word?  I'd guess the gain in
mnemonicity would be worth it.
  I've made up candidate sets of 1024 words sorted by grammatical
category, to build a Muq random password generation utility similar in
spirit to the lambdamoo one you describe, but I haven't coded it up and
tested it yet.  (I'm happy to share the wordlists if anyone wants them.
They aren't posted anywhere public at the moment.)
