Press?forHelp,qtoQuit,utogoupamenuPage:-->ReceivingInformtion..| This file describes how to send mail to users on BITNET. Please note that this is THE right way of doing things. Other methods rely on doing exactly this, but through some kind of automated Mail-config file that fails at times. Say I wanted to send mail to: homer@SUVM This is done by sending mail the an address as follows: homer%SUVM@gwuvm.gwu.edu This sends mail to homer@SUVM, but it uses the GWUVM mainframe as a gateway to access the BITNET network from the INTERNET network. NOTE: If you want to send mail to someone on the GWUVM (CMS) Mainframe, just type: pine bart@gwuvm.gwu.edu --More--(82%)[Hit space to continue, Del to abort] --------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions / comments to : mikee@gwis.circ.gwu.edu Press to continue, to mail, to save, or
