Because we're often asked which issues readers can find a given topic, we're running the entire index. Apologies for those with limitations on incoming mail) THE COMPUTER UNDERGROUND DIGEST CUMULATIVE INDEX LAST UPDATED: Through Volume 5 (end of 1993) This is an index of things, people, handles, events, magazines, places, events, books, hackers, TV shows, speeches, conventions, search warrants, phreakers, secret service agents, news prints, and of cyberspace itself. Anything mentioned in an issue of the Digest, with significance, is included in the Index. For instance, a paper on Operation Sundevil would be in the index under it's own header; but Operation Sundevil mentioned offhand is not here. Certain articles of the index may be under a separate title, for example magazines, newspapers, hackers, specific trials, and some other categories have their own headings for better reference. Also, magazines and newspapers will be surrounded by underscores, book tiles are in capitals, and aliases in quotes. Electronic publications are under currently under magazines. The index numbering system is organzied in the following manner: ABB/C or ABB/C1/C2/C3/.. A - Volume number B - Issue number C - File or Article number. A particular subject may be in several parts of an issue, so each is separated by a backslash. I would like to point out that the index uses the a full eighty columns in order to fit certain identifiers and spaces in. I apologize to those that cannot view in eighty columns, but for right now it's the only system I've got. If you have any questions, ideas, comments, or corrections, I will gladly take them and see what I can do. --- Alan Dunkin adunkin@nyx.cs.du.edu +----------------------------------------------------------------------- A5 encryption system 510/7 AB1624, see California State Assembly Bill 1624 Abene, Mark 305/3; 306/4; 337/3; 430/1/2/3; 431/1; 432/4; 451/2; 584/7; 586/1; 587/1/2/3 Abernathy, Joe 528/1 ACLU, see American Civil Liberties Union Advanced Network and Services 205/7; 206/5 Adventure Software Ltd. 465/2 AFIRM, see Automated Fingerprint Image Reporting and Match System Air Force Office of Special Investigations 201/6 AIS, see Automated Information System BBS Akron Anomaly BBS 462/8; 523/2/3; 556/1; 563/2 Alcor Life Extension Foundation 104a; 104b; 104c; 104d; 118/2; 125/3; 325 Aldrich, Jeffery 213/2 Alexander, Kent 454/2/3 Aliases, "Acid Phreak", see Ladopoulos, Elias "Adrian Vole" 212/9 "Cap't Crunch", see Draper, John "Captain Zap", see Murphy, Ian "Corrupt", see Lee, John "Dark Avenger" 512/8; 514/10; 544 "Dead Lord", see Fancher, Bruce "Doc Holiday", see Chasin, Scott "Doc Savage", see Majette, Baron "Dr. Ripco", see Esquibel, Bruce "Erik Bloodaxe", see Goggans, Chris "Ferret" 117/6 "Flash", see Kong, Albert "Genesis" 406/1 "HackRat" 457/3 "Hitman" 569/2 "Hollywood Hacker", see Goldman, Stuart "Inhuman" 457/3 "Ionizer", see Elansky, Michael "Knight Lightning", see Neidorf, Craig "Lex Luthor" 452/6 "Lithium Bandit" 457/3 "Lord Digital", see Kroupa, Patrick "Malefactor", see Shulman, Kenyon "Maverick", see Maverick, Scott "Multiplexer" 418/9 "Necron 99", see Grant, Adam "NotSoHumble Babe" 406/1 "Outlaw", see Fernandez, Julio "Pengo", see Huebner, Hans "Phiber Optik", see Abene, Mark "Phrakr Trakr" 514/6; 565/3 "Quintin" 454/2/3; 513/4 "Robert Johnson", see Riggs, Robert "R.
