GOOD unix books are definelty "The Design of the UNIX Operating System" and "Design and implementation of the BSD 4.3". Unix network programmin is also supposed to be quite good, they mainly deal w/ kernel programming and how the system works. Ad for unix security books, the ones I`ve gone through are quite pathetic , they simply tell about old buhgs sometimes patched, general principles , setuids, and some scripts one might create. (worse than Cert, almost, but not quite)
