If you have to use to Kermit to transfer the file, the way to do it is:
Type kermit and get the Kermit-32> prompt :)
Then type "set filetype binary" (for binary files, duh)
And then type "send <filename>"
Then initiate a kermit d/l on your end and you should get the file.

It's slow, but it will work.
