Where are we all going to,
When will it all end?
This long, frozen night.
Living in darkness,
Many things are obscured.
Waiting for the morning
That shall never come.
At least in my lifetime.
Familiar things seem foreign.
Did I ever know them?
Thoughts spinning completely
Out of control into the depths
Of my mind.
It appears in a brilliant flash
And then is gone.
The answer to all my troubles
Has hidden itself again.
Not remembering what I saw
Makes me wonder
Will I ever see the light?
